Jessy Mendiola’s mother, Didith Garvida, did not mince her words in defending her daughter from bashers who have been hounding the actress FHM Philippines named her the sexiest woman of 2016.
Didith lashed out against netizens who have been questioning Jessy’s win.

She posted, “Ang dami nyong mga pakialamera kayo...mind all your business and leave her alone! Lahat ng paratang nyo na hindi maganda ay walang katuturan at wala kayong pakialam sa personal na buhay nya"
Didith added, “All you have been accussing her is baseless...and tantamount to speculations and envy anu problema nyo?? Sya nanalo at sa mga ginagawa nya wala kayong karapatang pakialaman bakit pinakakain nyo ba sya..you all stop the bashing naging mga sakit nyo na yan… Well nanalo sya EAT your HEART OUT!”
Jessy’s mother also told bashers to stay away from her social media accounts if they don't like the young actress at all.
She also went on to express her profound gratitude to all the supporters of Jessy.
“TO ALL BASHERS JESSY IS NO. 1 thank you for supporting her we are enjoying the moment..the winner does not care about the bashing, the crown is her shield and the people who loves her ...YOU DONT LIKE HER?
