Lovi Poe renews Kapuso contract: 'GMA has always been my home'
GMA’s premier actress Lovi Poe remained a loyal Kapuso as she signed a three-year exclusive contract together with the network executives, Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President of Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable and her manager Leo Dominguez.

The Kapuso prized talent came a long way as a newcomer in Bakekang in 2006 to being one of the most bankable leading ladies in the industry today.
“GMA has always been my home, and I’m just happy po na nandito ako ngayon signing a contract with my network,” she told GMANetwork.com earlier.
All throughout her 10 years in showbiz, the actress-singer thanked the network for grooming and nourishing her career since she was 17 years old.
“Nagpapasalamat ako dahil palagi nila akong binibigyan ng opportunity to actually work on what I’m really passionate about which is acting and performing in front of the people who are supportive,” she added.
The Kapuso star has an upcoming Primetime series Someone To Watch Over Me lined up for her to air this August opposite first-time leading man Tom Rodriguez.

Under Regal Films, the sexy actress is also “excited to be back in the big screen” via The Escort wherein she has steamy scenes with hunk actor Derek Ramsay and veteran actor Christopher de Leon.
She also looks forward to write songs for her upcoming album as well as hold another concert after the success of Fantaisie with fellow Kapuso star Solenn Heussaff.
The GMA executives have nothing but kind words for the actress. Gozon praised Lovi for her beauty and talent, “Tayo naman ay nagagalak din na tayo napili ulit ni Lovi sapagkat para sa atin [ay] hindi lamang [siya] napakagandang artista kundi magaling [din]. Nasa sa kanya ang dalawang katangian na hinahanap ng bawat ng nagpo-produce ng programa.”
Yalong recalled the time Poe was first introduced to them, “I remember when she started way back, she was very young then, [and] still, she’s with GMA. We’re happy that she continues to believe in the way we manage her career, and we’re glad that she stayed with us for another three years.”
For Rasonable, time indeed flies so fast between them and their homegrown talent. She remembered, “Dito naman talaga siya nag-start and parang kailan lang we were in the same room for the contract signing and now she’s renewing. We’re very happy and proud that she’s still a Kapuso.”
