“It’s a cute love story about two college dorm mates,” Sebastian told Unang Hirit. Without exposing too much about the movie, his love interest continued, “We became best friends, and then eventually fell in love with each other.”

Asked how they prepared for their roles, the YouTube star admitted, “I am openly gay. I came out three years ago through my music. I think Mikoy is put in the challenge of playing [an] off gender [role].”

The GMA artist has played Jake Vargas’ gay classmate Roxy in the hit sitcom Pepito Manaloto so he is not at all new to it.

“Prior to the project, consistent naman ako mag-workshop talaga,” he explained. But, the actor-singer revealed that his working relationship with his first-time leading man helped a lot, “It’s a big factor that Seb is really comfortable to work with.”

They only met at the set of the movie, but their improvisation skills did the magic. Mikoy disclosed, “We had a reading before, but two times lang before the actual shoot [tapos] walang script ‘yung buong thing.”

The international celebrity posted a teaser on his Instagram account about their upcoming independent film where the Kapuso star sang the original movie soundtrack “Pusong Hindi Makatulog” which he also performed live in the morning show.
