Gabbi Garcia, overwhelmed by 'Playlist' performances feedback

For the relaunch of the online concert series Playlist, Gabbi Garcia was first to treat audiences with her song renditions.

She took on Pag-ibig (theme song of Dangwa) by Spongecola and Nahuhulog Sa ‘Yo (theme of Grazilda) by Glaiza de Castro.

The Alena actress of Encantadia’s 2016 remake enjoyed performing both songs.

“I was so surprised about the outcome of our cover, in a good way. I very much liked it. I loved how the people got to relate as well because the songs actually came from their favorite series,” she said.

The 17-year-old actress has been honest about her love for music and how it’s neck and neck with acting. That considered, she is thrilled with the overwhelming feedback from netizens and she hopes to have more opportunities to share her passion.

“I felt so kilig while reading the comments and feedback. I’m happy that I got to finally share my music to them. I would really love to do [the Playlist] again, and hopefully [have] an album [of my own] as well,” she added.
