Bukod sa libo-libong fans at loyal viewers na bumati sa kanila, isang espesyal na tao ang naghatid ng kanyang mensahe para sa programa. Ito ay walang iba kungdi si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
"Good day, I am Rody Duterte. I would like to greet the men and women, all these years, who are responsible for the program Eat Bulaga," he began in a 28-second video.
Pagpatuloy pa niya, "It has its staying power, and I pray to God that Eat Bulaga would continue to exist for a thousand years. Congratulations! Happy anniversary!"
Dumaan sa pitong presidente ang Eat Bulaga sa 37 years nitong pananatili sa telebisyon.
