A Date with Kat

He is your typical nice guy, 23 years old, a B.S. Psychology graduate of UST. Last July 12, 2007, to celebrate the fact that he was about to leave the company to help out in the family's trucking business, Alen's officemates took him to the hottest party in town, the FHM 100 Sexiest Women at the World Trade Center. He was not disappointed. He saw the sexy ladies. He had fun with his buddies. Then he went home and that was that. Or so he thought. One morning, he was rudely awakened by a phone call. PEP tells him that he won a date with the Sexiest Woman in the land, Katrina Halili! The funny thing is, he did not even write his own name to join the contest! How lucky is that? His reaction? "Seryoso ba ito? What do I do? Who do I tell? I couldn't get over with the fact that I've won something that I don't even, you know, write my name in." What were the reactions of his friends? "I called up this friend of mine, binaggit ko sa kanya. He said, this is it you lucky (--)!" On the date, Alen bought flowers for Katrina. Then, they had dinner and chatted for a very long time. Our gal seemed to have a good time. Her only complaint? "Alam mo, first time ko lang mag-date noh? Tapos ang dami niyo pa diyan. Walang privacy! Parang, ano ba iyon?" Kat was complaining about the fact that iGMA and Startalk were there! Talk about chaperones! The date went on for hours. But, unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. How was the date for our guy? "Actually, I'm happy that I met Katrina. She's really down to earth, I mean, it's a different perspective kasi getting to talk to an artista. Feeling mo ito talaga iyong buhay niya. actually iba nga...ibang-iba pero iyon nga they're very down to earth also." Even though Kat is not looking for anyone special right now, she only had good things to say about Alen too. "Okay naman eh. Ah, nagka-tinginan lang, nagkasundo na kami!
