Bloggers' Style Camp, #HeartOverHate, was a huge success!

The Bloggers' Style Camp is a competition in which two teams comprised of both bloggers and Kapuso artists unite to create a campaign based around a theme. This years' theme is #HeartOverHate, an advocacy that aims to stop the heinous act of cyber-bullying.

Now on its second year, Bloggers' Style Camp 2016 proved to be a huge success! The culmination night held at Cities Events Place, Quezon City last August 11 was flocked by celebrities and online influencers alike.

The event started off with a brief moment of silence for Iyane Escarpe of dsweetbox.com, a blogger who was supposed to join the camp but unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

One of the event's highlights is a lesson from Canon Brand Ambassador Raymund Isaac on how to take the perfect selfie. With just simple everyday tools, he showed us how we can all step up our selfie game.

For the event's performances, boyband T.O.P. and Ken Chan serenaded the guests.

And the last part of the Bloggers' Style Camp Culmination Night is the awarding ceremony:

For garnering over 15,000 votes, Bea Binene won the "Fabulous Female" award while Ken Chan with over 30,000 votes won the "Magnanimous Male" award.

Meanwhile, the Boys' Team comprised of Kapuso actors Phytos Ramirez, Martin del Rosario, Derrick Monasterio, and Ken Chan with bloggers  MJ de Leon, Jerhwin Hernandez, John Bueno, Kristine Roces, and Rochelle Rivera won the "Most Creative" award for their campaign.

But overall, it was Team Girls with Ashley Ortega, Mikee Quintos, Bea Binene, and Louise delos Reyes with bloggers MJ Perez, Albert Abelido, and Teena Arches, who won it big at the Bloggers' Style Camp this year.

Both teams did their best to create a meaningful campaign, and in the end, winning or losing did not matter because they were able to spread their message and advocacy to stop cyber-bullying.
