Julie Anne San Jose renews contract with GMA, dubbed as among the network's key talents
After a decade since her debut in showbiz via Popstar Kids, Julie Anne San Jose remains to be a Kapuso.
Julie renewed her contract with GMA Network today, August 22. Joining her in her contract-signing were GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA President and COO Mr. Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable and SAVP for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara.
Julie shared in her interview with Aubrey Carampel how she feels thankful and blessed to have GMA as her home.
She said, “Ever since po talaga ito na ‘yung tahanan ko eh kasi I started really young and then I grew up na rin, parang dito na po talaga ako lumaki.”
“Sobrang thankful po ako na nabigyan po ako ng opportunity to be with GMA, of course, and I’m really, really excited kasi marami pong magaganap,” she added.
The Kapuso executives are equally delighted with Julie’s renewal as they consider her among the key talents in the network.
“Tayo rin ay very, very thankful dahil homegrown ‘yang si Julie Anne. Pero, gusto kong sabihin na hindi lamang napakagaling na singer ni Julie Anne, siya rin ay napakagaling at versatile actress. Pwedeng comedy, pwedeng [drama] at higit sa lahat, napakaganda,” Atty. Gozon claimed.
Mr. Duavit and Mr. Yalong also took pride in having Julie as a homegrown artist.
“Parang kailan lang ‘yung Popstar Kids, ngayon eh isa nang kinikilalang manganganta at bilang artista ay mas napupuna, mas nakikita ng manonood ang husay, the professionalism, the evolution and the knowledge that Julie will go much much further. ‘Yung mga bagay na ganito ang nakakatuwa, nakakapagpataba ng puso. Pasasalamat din kay Julie sa kanyang patuloy na tiwala,” said Mr. Duavit.
“She gave her wholehearted support to the network and we’re happy.. Julie Anne will be [among] the stars of the future so we’re happy that she’ll be staying [with] us for so long time as one of the key talents of the network,” Mr. Yalong added.
