'You can go to work instead of drown in other people's personal lives, right?' - Sid Lucero on bashers

By MICHELLE CALIGAN

Normal lang daw ang bashing ayon sa aktor na si Sid Lucero, pero hindi ibig sabihin na hayaan na lamang itong mangyari.

"If you give access to someone who has nothing to do, he'll do something out of it. And bashing is one of them, it's part of the business. The campaign is good because it's kind of like a campaign against school bullying," he shared, referring to the GMA Network's anti-cyberbullying campaign #HeartOverHate.

Pagpatuloy pa niya, "But I think the way to do it is to teach them that there is proper etiquette online and offline. When you write things online, it is not just you ranting, it is you publishing it to the world that even if you erase that or take that down, it is published. It's done, it's part of history. I think that people should just think first or do something with there lives. You know, you can go to work instead of drown in other people's personal lives, right?"

Pagdating naman sa sarili niyang bashers, hindi apektado ang award-winning actor sa kanila. Aniya, ang artista na ang may problema kung hahayaan niyang diktahan siya ng bashers.

"It's a reality. There's good and there's evil, and you can't have one over the other. May problema na sa 'yo if you're going to allow it to take over your personality na 'No, I can't be like this because there are bashers.' No, you go through life and do it. As long as you think you are doing it in the right moral standards I guess. There will always be bashers. It's been there, it's part of society."
