Sa Piling Ni Nanay star Mark Herras didn’t see it coming. His foster father Herminigildo Santos was gone too soon due to cardiac arrest at 9:30 this morning (October 7).
“I don't [know] what to say, Pim... Hindi ako handa [tapos] bigla ka [na lang] nang-iwan...” he posted on Instagram a throwback photo of him as a baby and his uncle.
His adoptive father is the brother of his mother Jasmin Santos who also passed away last April due to cardiac arrest.

Condolences from his showbiz friends such as Katrina Halili, Barbie Forteza, Joko Diaz, and Gene Padilla then poured in.
Mark's girlfriend Wyn Marquez also posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram account not just for Mark, but also for her half-brother Mark Anthony Fernandez and mother Alma Moreno.
