On his Instagram account, Dingdong announced the launching of Go Bags Challenge: An Emergency Kit for Every Filipino.

"The Go Bags Challenge aims to provide Hooded Cloak Backpacks with emergency kits and learners’ materials to young people in vulnerable public schools particularly those in areas affected by Typhoons Karen and Lawin, as identified by the Department of Education. The Go Bags Hooded Cloak Backpack is made from water-proof materials designed to protect the child from the torrential rain and even from the scorching sun’s rays. It has two compartments for emergency survival items and basic school supplies," he described the project.

He added, "The Project is also intended to ensure the sustainability of the livelihood of women and men in Tacloban, who have survived the wrath of Typhoon Yolanda and have been empowered to rebuild their lives and community by helping others through their skills in bag making."

Good job, Dong!
