Sine Novela’s My Only Love will be Bianca’s first dramarama acting piece, with a new time slot and audience, is Bianca ready for her new afternoon career? Text by Alula Love M. Dela Cruz. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio. Bianca King has been one of the most visible actresses on primetime television. But her new show, Sine Novela’s My Only Love , will be Bianca’s first acting stint on an afternoon slot. “Its more masa talaga, I’m really happy kasi for me it’ll really be good for me that I do so well in this kasi its important to get that market.” Bianca adhere’s to this idea because she believes that if you gain the respect of this market they will follow you through even if you switch to primetime. “Parang that’s the logic I see in it nakakainis nga na some people will sa ‘ay nasa pang-hapon na lang siya’ yung ganoon.” Regardless of this negative notion, Bianca considers her character in My Only Love her biggest break yet, “This is the biggest role that I’ve had, for me it’s so much better than most of the primetime roles kasi I’m really visible all through out the series.” Bianca plays Trixie, the eldest sister whose pure heart attracts the attention of Billy played by teen heartthrob Mark Herras, “I’m a very good girl here, good daughter, very poised and demure I’m the only person in my family who’s on Cindy’s (Rhian Ramos) side.” The story revolves around Billy falling for Trixie who happens to be Cindy’s only confidante in their family. Later on Cindy will develop feelings towards Billy. This will ultimately decide the fate of the sisters' relationship with each other. The plot may be a common drama theme but according to Bianca they’ve added a lot more twists than the original movie itself, “Midway through the series something’s going to happen, I will have a very good reason to be angry with Cindy.” For Bianca, she considers Trixie’s character a vital step to her career, “Hopefully with this role I can show people na I can do completely different roles.” Most of the characters she has played in the past had strong personalities. She’s just happy that the GMA management gave her an opportunity to showcase her versatility, “I always say this it doesn’t matter if the role is small; I always treat each one as an audition for my next (project).” Catch Bianca as Trixie on Sine Novela’s My Only Love weekdays on GMA’s Dramarama sa Hapon!
