READ: Full list of winners at the 42nd Metro Manila FIlm Festival

Kapuso stars Paolo Ballesteros and Rhian Ramos both won awards at the recently conducted 42nd Metro Manila FIlm Festival. Paolo was named the Best Actor this 2016, while Rhian bagged the Female Celebrity of the Night award.

"Seklusyon" wins big this year, taking home nine awards including the Best Director for Direk Erik Matti, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, Best Theme Song, Best Musical Score, Special Jury Prize for Rhed Bustamante, the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Phoebe Walker, and the Male Celebrity of the Night award for Ronnie Alonte.
