Jaclyn Jose, Paolo Ballesteros, Barbie Forteza, and Therese Malvar to be honored at the 9th Ani ng Dangal Awards

Jaclyn Jose, Paolo Ballesteros, Barbie Forteza, and Therese Malvar will be honored at the 9th Ani ng Dangal Awards after earning international awards in the past year.

Jaclyn will be awarded for her Best Actress victory at the Cannes Film Festival in France for her portrayal in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’ Rosa. Paolo, on the other hand, will receive recognition for winning Best Actor for his lead role in Die Beautiful at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Meanwhile, Barbie will be honored for making the country proud for her Best Actress win via the movie Laut at the 35th Fantasporto International Film Festival in Portugal, while Therese Malvar will be recognized for her role in the movie Hamog. 

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts  will bestow the recognition to the four Kapuso artists on February 28 at the closing ceremony of the National Arts Month.
