'Someone To Watch Over Me' is a finalist in New York Festivals

GMA’s Someone To Watch Over Me is a finalist in New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films.

Lovi Poe who was the romantic drama series’ lead actress shared the good news on her Instagram account.

She wrote, “I’m proud to announce that Someone To Watch Over Me is one of the finalists of the highly prestigious 2017 New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films. It also happens to be the lone finalist from Asia and the Philippines.”

“Congratulations to one of the most hardworking teams I’ve ever had the chance to work with! #STWOM team you guys are amazing,” she added.

 

Also nominated in the World’s Best TV and Films competition are Investigative Documentaries: PAAralan (TREADucation)Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho: Gintong Medalya (One at Heart with Jessica Soho: Medal of Gold), and Reporter’s Notebook: Pasan-Pasang Pangarap (The Weight of a Dream) for the category Community Portraits, Front Row: Bata sa Bintana (The Boy by the Window) for the Human Concerns category, and Reel Time: Maling Akala (Costly War) under the National / International Affairs category.
