Mikoy Morales, set to release his second single 'Sana' on April 29

Mikoy Morales is soon to release his sophomore single, "Sana," this Saturday (April 29) and in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, he admitted about the mixed emotions he's feeling about the new project.

According to Mikoy, "Actually nae-excite na nape-pressure [ako] kasi it took a year since I released my first single. Siguro sobrang tagal kong binabaran 'yung song na 'to and andoon 'yung feeling na ang dami ko pang gustong gawin pero alam ko na 'pag ginawa ko 'yon, hindi ako matatapos. Pero confident na ako sa naging final outcome ngayon so I'm excited and nervous."

Mikoy also revealed to us the inspiration behind his newest single, "'Sana" is a very personal song. I wrote it 'nung I was going through a breakup and then nagka-closure na pero para sa akin 'di pa rin so ayun."

What's the difference between his first single, "Pusong Hindi Makatulog," and "Sana?"

"Na-tweak ko siya nang kaunti compared to the sound of "Pusong Hindi Makatulog." This one's different, ito kasi 'yung gusto kong tunog. [But] Maybe some people might find it nakakaantok, sana madala 'yung mga tao doon sa song mismo," Mikoy answered.
