LOOK: Kylie Padilla's The Little Prince-themed baby shower

On her seventh month of pregnancy, Kylie Padilla was honored with a baby shower by her relatives and friends. The event, which was organized by Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, was held last May 18 at Aruga by Rockwell.

The glowing and energetic Kylie addressed the special people in her life with a message of appreciation.

“Thank you so much for coming. Thank you Tita [Mariel] for organizing this whole baby shower. Sobra talagang na-appreciate ko. Gusto ko lang mag-thank you for welcoming our baby boy. Sobrang saya and sobrang precious ng blessing na ‘to and I’m so happy to see your faces here,” she said.

She also had a special message for the moms in the room.

“Belated happy Mother’s Day sa lahat [ng moms na nandito]. Dati nung sinasabi ko 'yun, sinasabi ko lang. Ngayon, naiintindihan ko na and I say it with so much honesty. I appreciate mothers so much more now,” she added.

Asked what she looks forward to the most about being a mom, she had a quick and sure response.

“Holding my baby for the first time… Just having him [is the biggest blessing]. 'Yun lang. Simplest thing. [When he’s born], I have my family na,” she declared.

Some stars who were present in the event were her Encantadia co-stars Glaiza de Castro, Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, Carlo Gonzalez, Rocco Nacino and Diana Zubiri.

Mikael Daez, Megan Young, Maritoni Fernandez, Lexi Fernandez and Joyce Pring were also present.

Kylie is due to give birth this July.
