Former Miss Universe Philippines Venus Raj gets her hard-earned master's degree from UP

Former beauty queen Venus Raj adds another feather in her cap.

After giving pride to the country in 2010 by placing 4th runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant, the statuesque beauty finally gets her master’s degree from the University of the Philippines- Diliman.

Venus shared on Instagram her excitement over finishing her masters in Community Development.

“To those who became instruments in making this journey possible, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I can never boast of this moment, this is all by the grace of God.“

“Sa lahat ng magsisipagtapos, let us still consider ourselves students of this life. Never stop learning. When we stop learning, we stop growing. There are far more lessons that we have to discover. Don't be afraid of the process, God is with you. #GodIsFaithful #HeIsAble #InMyWeaknessHeIsStrong”

In another post, she emotionally reveals to her followers on Instagram that she almost quit but faith kept her going.

“Dumarating pala talaga 'yong oras na parang ayaw mo na. I was at the verge of quitting while writing my thesis. But God's encouragement, grace, and assurance sustained me along this process.”
