JUST IN: The Queen stays with GMA-7!

The Comedy Queen of the Philippines Aiai Delas Alas is one proud Kapuso, as she renews her exclusive contract with GMA-7 today, July 24.

Present at the contract signing  were GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon; GMA Entertainment TV's Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable;  GMA Entertainment TV Vice President for Drama Redgie Magno, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara; and Rowena Salido, Chief Operating Officer of the Asian Artist Agency.

After the contract signing, Ms. Aiai Delas Alas thanked the GMA bosses for the all opportunities given to her.

She said,  “Praise God and God is so great and good. Ayan, ako pa rin po ay isang Kapuso. Siyempre binigyan ako ng chance ni Lord na maging Kapuso uli, so nandito uli po ako. Isa na naman po akong Kapuso. Mayroon na naman akong work.”

“Thank you sa Kapuso, thank you kay Sir [Felipe L. Gozon]. Thank you kina Ms. Lilybeth [Rasonable] and thank you sa lahat ng mga boss ng GMA.”

Meanwhile, Atty. Felipe L. Gozon didn’t doubt the loyalty of the Comedy Queen of the Philippines. 

“Si Aiai ang tinatawag na balikbayan. Alam naman niya kung nasaan ang puso niya ngayon, dahil natikman niya ‘yung dalawang [network]. Eh, para sa atin naman she’s always welcome. I, for one, talagang pinapanood ko ‘yung mga shows ni Aiai. 'Tsaka, bilib ako sa disiplina niya ngayon ang ganda ng katawan ni Aiai. ”

Ms. Rasonable, on the other hand, stressed that GMA-7 continues to have a good working relationship with the award-winning comedienne.

“Mahal namin si Aiai, we welcomed her back a few years ago at hanggang ngayon ay napakaganda pa nang relationship ng GMA at saka ni Aiai, so totoo yun, we love her and we love having her here in GMA,”
