EXCLUSIVE: Mikee Quintos clarifies break-up with T.O.P. member Louie Pedroso

Mikee Quintos opens up about her break-up with Top One Project (T.O.P.) member Louie Pedroso in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

Mikee clarified that though they have parted ways, all is well between her and her ex-boyfriend.

She said, “I think okay naman kami ni Louie now. [We don’t see each other] not as much kasi busy nga, pero close pa rin kami ng sister niya. Si Louie, nag-text nga nung isang gabi kung nasaan daw ako ‘cause we have so many common friends. Very mature naman.”

Mikee, who is still at the height of her career after her successful stint on Encantadia and is also an Architecture student in UST, admitted that having a romantic relationship is not among her highest priorities at the moment.

“Sa mga showbiz dati, ‘yung sinasabi nilang ‘Wala career muna.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ayaw niyo lang sagutin ‘yung tanong eh.’ Totoo pala. Mage-gets mo pala ‘yung feeling pag nandyan ka na. Parang maste-stress ka kasi enough na wala ka nang time for it. Ang cliché pakinggan na parang 'di ka maniniwala eh, pero you’d get it ‘di ba when you’re there na,” she explained.

Despite this seeming setback in their personal lives, Mikee also claimed that she is not totally turning her back from Louie.

“I told him din naman, I’m not closing my doors,” she said.
