EXCLUSIVE: JBK, still hopeful to return to 'X-Factor UK' as wild card
Their X-Factor UK journey may have ended early but JBK is still hopeful to re-enter the competition as a wild card.
The vocal trio composed of Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Ordonio was recently eliminated at the show’s 6-chair challenge after their mentor Simon Cowell gave the last seat to the girl group Lemonade.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Bryan recalled their nerve-wracking experience at the sing-off.
He said, “Mixed emotions when Simon called us for a sing-off we got scared, nervous and confused at the same time. We can hardly hear Simon because of the loud shouts from the people inside the arena. I can think of nothing but to just pray, I prayed that GOD would give us the voice and energy to perform because we are already exhausted that day. That moment, what matters most is for us to be able to sing our song nicely.”
JBK’s premature exit was objected by X-Factor UK judge Nicole Scherzinger, and it also prompted netizens to appeal for their return.

Bryan claimed, “Yes, we are hoping to be a wild card. We have so much to offer that people have not seen yet. If given a chance, we will do our best.”
While they look forward to another shot at the British reality TV music competition, JBK plans to keep on making music to express their gratitude for all the support they received.
Bryan said, “Being up there on that international X-Factor stage only left us with a great sense of humility we can only express by saying thank you. Thank you for every family, friend, and mentor we met along the way. All of you shaped us to become who we are and put us where we are today. The X-Factor was an experience of a lifetime! Every minute of it, we will cherish! It moved us. It shaped us. It made us realize how much we love music and our craft.”
“This is just the beginning. We are fired up, inspired! We vow to create music for our supporters. You are the reason why we want to keep moving and we will continue to perform with that mark: of an X-Factor,” he continued.
