Biggest Kapuso stars rock October with regional shows all over the country

From Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, GMA Network’s biggest stars went all over the country to treat their fans in various festivals and mall shows last October.

No less than Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes flew to Cebu last October 28 for back-to-back Kapuso Mall Shows in Gaisano Capital South and Gaisano Island Mall Mactan. Together with the Alyas Robin Hood lead actor were his leading ladies in the series, Andrea Torres and Solenn Heussaff.

Dingdong thanked the fans for their continued support to GMA Network’s roster of primetime shows—Super Ma’am, Alyas Robin Hood, and My Korean Jagiya. Seen every weeknight, the shows are three of the most-watched Kapuso programs nationwide in October based on data from Nielsen Phils. TV Audience Measurement.

Meanwhile, the fantastic series Super Ma’am heated up the celebration of this year’s MassKara Festival in Bacolod City when Super Ma’am herself, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes, led the Kapuso Fans Day at the Gaisano Mall Bacolod last October 19. Joining Marian were her co-stars in the show: Kapuso heartthrob Matthias Rhoads, young Kapuso stars Ashley Ortega and Enrico Cuenca, and Asia’s Fantasy Kim Domingo.

After Bacolod, Super Ma’am went north on October 21 to spread fun in Pangasinan. Together with Marian during the Kapuso Fans Day in Magic Mall Urdaneta were Jerald Napoles, Kristoffer Martin, and Joyce Ching.

Bringing ‘K-lig’ to their Negrense fans as well were the stars of the hit Korean-Filipino romcom My Korean Jagiya. Philippine TV’s Sweetheart Heart Evangelista-Escudero personally thanked the avid supporters of her top-rating rom-com series when she went to SM City Bacolod last October 22 as part of the MassKara Festival celebration. She was joined by her leading man Alexander Lee who made hearts flutter with his charm. Their co-stars Iya Villania and Divine Aucina made the mall show extra fun as well.

Heart and Alexander previously treated their fans in Luzon when they held a Kapuso Mall Show in Robinsons Place Pangasinan last October 14. Joining the My Korean Jagiya couple there were the men of the Kapuso boyband Top One Project or T.O.P.

After Bacolod, My Korean Jagiya went to Cebu last October 28 to meet and greet their Cebuano fans. During the back-to-back Kapuso Mall Shows in Gaisano Capital South and Gaisano Island Mall Mactan, Heart and Alexander were joined by their co-star Edgar Allan Guzman.

In Ilocos Sur, the Kapuso Network once again made the week-long celebration of Vigan City's Raniag Festival extra special by holding a Kapuso Night last October 26.  This year, GMA’s hottest young actors Martin del Rosario, Ivan Dorschner, Addy Raj, Inah de Belen, and Klea Pineda lit the Plaza Burgos with their presence. They made sure fans had a great time with their song and dance numbers.

Capping off this year’s Raniag Festival and World Costume Festival (WCF) were Kapuso actors Glaiza de Castro and Migo Adecer. Glaiza and Migo hosted the WCF Judging and Awarding Program last October 30.

Last October 14, Migo went to Bicol for a Kapuso Meet and Greet in Tabaco City, Albay. Also in Albay last October 17 were Super Ma’am stars Matthias Rhodes and Meg Imperial. Matthias and Meg attended the Kapuso Mall Show in LCC Mall Legazpi.

On top of the primetime programs, GMA Afternoon Prime’s Haplos also met with their fans in Palawan. Haplos lead actors Rocco Nacino and Sanya Lopez sizzled in their Kapuso Mall Show in SM City Puerto Princesa last October 15.

“October was indeed a busy month for us and for our Kapuso stars. But it was a month filled with wonderful memories,” says Oliver Amoroso, Vice President and Head of GMA’s Regional TV Department. “We witness first-hand the warm reception of Filipinos towards our various programs and artists. Like the casts of our primetime line-up Super Ma’am, Alyas Robin Hood, and My Korean Jagiya, and the rest of our Kapuso stars, we are greatly honored to receive so much love from our loyal viewers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. No wonder we remain as the most-watched channel nationwide. As such, we remain committed to making our boss—the viewers—our priority in every regional event that we mount. Thank you for the continued support. We promise to treat you with more events in the future,” he ends.
