GMA execs, very proud of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Wyn Marquez
Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez paid a courtesy visit to GMA executives, most especially to Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon and President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.
The GMA bosses are impressed and very proud of the Kapuso home-grown talent who bagged an international beauty pageant title.
“We’re really very proud para kay Winwyn. This proves once again na [narito] sa Pilipinas ang mga magagandang dalaga at binibini,” Gozon said in an interview during the event.
Duavit, on the other hand, prides the 25-year-old beauty queen as a Kapuso who brought honor to the country. He said, "Bukod sa karangalan nating lahat, karangalan [ito] ng buong bayan, ‘yung pagkapanalo ni Winwyn so we’re very, very proud sa kanyang pagiging Kapuso [at sa] karangalan na dinala niya sa bansa natin. Thank you for the pride that you bring all of us. Maraming salamat and congratulations!”
The bosses assured Wyn of her continuous projects in the network, despite her commitments as a reigning queen.
The newly-crowned binibini felt nervous as she entered a room full of people she looks up to. Wyn shared, "Kinabahan ako bigla na narito silang lahat. Hindi ko inakala na ganun ‘yung attention na ibibigay nila sa akin so I’m really thankful.”
She got to hone her talents in her home network. "I’m really grateful for GMA kasi kung hindi ako rito nag-start, wala akong confidence mag-perform in Reina Hispanoamericana which is an essential part of the pageant. Thankful ako dahil galing ako sa GMA [at dito] ako natuto ng mga bagay na iyon,” told Wyn.
