Max Collins believes that life continues after marriage. She will be tying the knot with Pancho Magno today, December 11, at Marriott Hotel, Pasay City.

The 25-year-old actress dismissed the misconception about marriage. She explained that it should not change her job and she can still live the life she wants even if she’s married.

“I think it would be a nice transition in my life like becoming a Mrs. because I have both of the things that I want most in my life, just my career and my loved ones. And being married should not change my job at all. Because people think I’m just mentioning this because people think like wala ka ng career, magiging misis ka na, or ‘yung magiging purpose mo lang ‘yung sa asawa mo lang. Syempre ‘yung focus mo is ‘yung sa asawa mo but at the same time, this is 2017, so puwede ka pa rin magkaroon ng career and life even if you’re married.”

Wedding preparations are undeniably stressful and draining. She admitted that she’s not good at handling stress that’s why she and Pancho hired the renowned wedding organizer Teena Barretto.

Teena is behind the successful weddings of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Regine Velasquez-Alacasid and Ogie Alcasid, and Rufa Mae Quinto and Trevor Magallanes, to name a few.

“[Teena] is a great coordinator and she’s been really helpful and understanding of my OC-ness. Kasi napaka-OC ko sa mga details,” said Max.

She shared that Pancho is also stressed about their wedding but in a different way.

She said, “Na-stress din [si Pancho] because parang dinadamay ko siya ‘pag na-stress ako. So, nararamdam n’ya 'yung stress ko. I think he’s more stressed about giving me what I want because he wants to make me happy. ‘Pag ‘di ako happy, ‘di s’ya happy. I guess it’s a good problem.”

The two is not planning to have a baby soon because of their showbiz commitments. Pancho is currently playing the role of Benedict in Haplos while Max Collins is busy taping for her new show, The One That Got Away, which will air next year.
