Filipina model and beauty queen Katarina Rodriguez finished as 1st runner up in the recently concluded Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant.

She was also crowned Miss Intercontinental Asia and Oceania.

Miss Mexico Veronica Salas Vallejo ultimately got the title of Miss Intercontinental 2017.

The 24-year-old Katarina entered the public eye when she competed in cycle 2 of Asia's Next Top Model in 2014 where she came in second place.

The Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant was held in Hurgada, Egypt.
