Solenn Heussaff reveals her inspiration for her paintings

By Maine Aquino

Inspiration can come from just about anything, chaos included. This much actress Solenn Heussaff revealed in her recent social media post.

She wrote: "If you know me, you know my inspo comes from the people I come across everyday. Beauty amongst the chaos. The reason my last paintings touched so many people was because they were based on reality. A reality we are afraid to confront.”

It can be recalled that Solenn's first exhibit dubbed “Our People” focused on faces of people from her travels while her second exhibit was inspired by her daily musings on the road, hence the title “Kalsada.”

What would Solenn's next theme be?

According to Solenn, she met a group of ladies from her recent trip. "Met these ladies from the Badjao tribe near the red light. Two worlds so far apart. They asked for a photo and followed us around most of the night just happy for that shared moment. It really doesn’t take a lot to make people smile. If we could just all help each other a little more. A memory I need to paint.

Can't wait for that!
