Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann expressed her full support to Miss World Philippines 2016 and Miss Universe Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

The former Eat Bulaga Dabarkad wrote an appreciation post for her 'twinnie' on Instagram.
"Appreciation post to this wonderful lady: Growing together in this industry, through numerous ups and downs, amazing opportunities for travel and work, embarking on various endeavors, and endless fun memories... I’ll always be here for you! So immensely proud of you! Love you! Can’t wait to cheer for you at this year’s Miss Universe 2018," she wrote.
Valerie earlier defended Catriona from her detractors after body shaming comments about her which circulated on social media.
