The Atom Araullo Specials is a monthly 55-minute documentary wherein Atom will explore and discuss some pressing issues of Filipinos.

For the first episode, Atom presents three stories with a central theme—underground.

He travels to Samar to explore underground caves, including the 32-kilometer Sulpan cave. This is the longest cave system in the Philippines where one can supposedly see a giant tooth from a prehistoric shark.

The story shifts to a more urban setting as Atom meets families who reside under Manila's Jones Bridge. He will live with them down under to understand their unusual but very real living situation.

Atom also explores recently-made underground tunnels in Marawi which served as the terrorists’ escape routes and bunkers at the height of the siege. He will discover where these tunnels lead and more importantly, trace how they were built in the middle of a busy community.

The Atom Araullo Specials will air every last Sunday of the month after Stories for the Soul.
