"I need to be home."

This was the main reason of Paul Salas as he decided to return to his home network after almost nine years.

Paul got his big break in showbiz via the reality based artista search 'StarStruck Kids' together with his batchmates Miguel Tanfelix and Bea Binene.

Present during his contract signing were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Content Group Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, SVP for Alternative Productions Ms. Gigi Santiago-Lara and PPL President and CEO Perry Lansigan. He signed a co-management contract with GMA Artist Center.

In his exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the Kapuso heartthrob was ecstatic that nothing has changed since he left and everyone was just so supportive when he came back.

Paul explained, “Yung bond, ‘yung love andito pa rin talaga. Sila pa rin, walang nagbabago. Nagbago lang sa year kasi siyempre naging modern lang, pero lahat ‘yung love lahat walang nagbago, so [I’m] happy to be home.”

He also revealed to GMANetwork.com that it took him a year before he made the decision to become a Kapuso again.

Paul added that he is looking forward to work with his uncle Dingdong Dantes and with the rest of his family who are Kapuso talents.

Did he also seek Dingdong’s advice when he made the decision to return to GMA?

So sabi niya, ‘very good news yan kuya.' Siyempre kasi nandito na rin ‘yung pamilya.”

Meanwhile, Kapuso executive Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable discussed their future plans for Paul during her interview with Kapuso showbiz reporter Lhar Santiago.

She said, “Siyempre  umpisahan natin  muna sa round of guestings, magaling naman siyang umarte. So dun natin  siya ilagay sa mga drama shows, tapos maganda sana magkaroon sila ng reunion nina Bea [Binene and] Miguel Tanfelix, [ang] mga kasabayan niya noon sa StarStruck. I think that would be nice.”
