LOOK: Gelli de Belen's bunso, Julio Rivera, graduates high school in Canada

Before her newest Kapuso series Ika-5 Utos airs on GMA Afternoon Prime, Gelli de Belen took a quick break and flew all the way to Canada to attend her son's (Julio Rivera) high school graduation.

"Congratulations to my bunso, @hulyohrivera! Go forth and set the world on fire! So proud of you my boy," captioned Gelli.

According to Ariel Rivera, their son will now pursue college in York University located in Toronto, Canada.

"My youngest son, Julio graduated high school today. So proud of you, son! Now off to York University," wrote Ariel.

Julio's kuya Joaquin then joked about no longer having to drive him to his high school.

"YAYYYY! I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE HIM TO SCHOOL ANYMORE! Btw, congrats on graduating I guess," Joaquin jested.

After spending quality time with her husband and kids in Canada, Gelli will resume taping for her upcoming show, Ika-5 Utos.
