Globalport Batang Pier player Arnold Van Opstal is making his voice heard and is pushing for the passage of the anti-discrimination bill in the Senate.

SOGIE which stands for "An Act Prohibiting Discrimination on the Basis of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity or Expression" was passed by the House of Representative in the third and final reading last September 2017.

The former DLSU basketball star is the new hero of the LGBTQ community after appealing to end homophobia in the country. 

Arnold even revealed that he has a gay brother and he sees nothing wrong with it if he has a different sexual orientation.
