This time, a dear friend of Dr. Geraldine took to social media to share her side of the story and reveal the hardship she experienced after her ex-husband filed for annulment.

In a lengthy Facebook post yesterday, August 16, former city councilor Doray Delarmente talked about what kind of person Dr. Zamora is to her closest friends and patients.

She said, “She is a very sweet, soft spoken and kind person. She would put others first before herself. For her patients, she would go above and beyond her duty as a physician. Ask anyone who has encountered her in PGH, and they would say “walang masamang tinapay” kay Dra. Ging.”

Councilor Delarmente also recounted the painful experience of her friend when she was going through her annulment.

“I am crying as I write this piece. No one deserves this pain... and no one deserves to be treated like this, especially for someone as kind as you.

“I felt your pain when he filed the annulment, and during the first court hearing last MAY 2017, and even more pain when the judge signed the petition last JANUARY 2018. I felt your pain after your court hearing. You were very anxious and sad. I remember you telling me that when you took the stand for the annulment, detailing your private life to complete strangers, it was a very harrowing experience for you. You broke down.

“A person as nice as you do not deserve that kind of experience. You and you daughter do not deserve that.”

But she assured Geraldine that despite these challenges in her personal life, there are many people supporting her and love her no matter what.

“It is hard to lose someone you love to someone else... but I know that what hurt for you more is thinking of the pain & trauma that this will cause your daughter. As a mother, I feel you.

“Think of this as a big bump in the road. And you, being a strong person, alam ko kaya mo ito. Always remember that you have a lot of friends, and we will all be here for you as you have always been here for us.”
