WATCH: Jackie Lou Blanco succeeds in surprising Pilita Corrales on her birthday

It was a mission accomplished for Jackie Lou Blanco and her family after succeeding to surprise her mom Pilita Corrales on her birthday.

Jackie shared videos from their intimate party which show the delight of the older actress.

She wrote, “Yes, we managed to surprise my Mom on her birthday which is next to impossible. Lagi kaming nahuhuli. Haha! Well, not this time Thank you to @janinegutierrez @jessicacdg @lmjdgutierrez @diegogutz08 @aradabao @getyourfrikon @angrykendy @monchinggutz @pilarcinderella for making it possible. Thank you to our loved ones who were there. Thank you to all her friends and loved ones abroad who sent their video greetings. You made my Mom so happy.”

The mother-daughter tandem also performed a duet.

Jackie said, “It's always a joy when I sing with my Mom. At her surprise b'day party, She wanted us to sing "Sway", Ako, English, Siya, Spanish.”

Pilita has turned 79 years old on August 22.
