Jako de Leon's touching birthday message for fellow vlogger Wil Dasovich

The son of veteran comedian and TV host Joey de Leon, wrote a heartfelt message for his good friend and fellow YouTube vlogger Wil Dasovich on his birthday.

Jako de Leon, who inspired Wil to venture into vlogging, posted a lengthy message on Instagram to express his profound appreciation to him on his special day.

He posted, “Words will never be able to fully capture my appreciation for you, man. Over the past couple of years, we've gone through such an amazing adventure to the top together. If anything, I've always dreamt of mentoring, coaching, or simply imparting knowledge to a worthy individual... just like in the movies.

“To pass what I know and help raise a champion. And to have that opportunity with you is and has always been priceless. You have given me the same renewed sense of purpose and pride that a student gives to any old movie master and i'll be forever grateful.

“So to the Luke to my Obi-Wan, the Neo to my Morpheus, the Daniel LaRusso to my Mr. Miyagi, the Rocky to my Mickey, and to the Hercules to my Phil, Happy Birthday, kid. I'm proud of ya, always.”

Last February 2018, the former reality TV star through announced that he is cancer-free on his YouTube channel. He was diagnosed with the disease in August 2017.
