EXCLUSIVE: Bianca Umali gives warm welcome to returning Kapuso star Rayver Cruz

Rayver Cruz returns to GMA-7 after 18 years.

As a child star, Rayver appeared in the comedy series Kiss Muna (2000) starring Henyo Master Joey de Leon. He was also part of the informative program 5 and Up, which aired on GMA-7 in the '90s.

The younger brother of Rodjun Cruz signed the contract with the Kapuso Network this Thursday morning, September 6.

Present during the event were GMA SVP for the Entertainment Content group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, SAVP for Alternative Producstions Gigi Lara-Santiago, Senior Talent Manager Vic Del Rosario and Rayver's manager Albert Chua.

One of the people excited for this new journey of Rayver is Kapuso teen actress Bianca Umali.

In her exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Bianca said that she fully supports the hunky actor's decision to transfer.

According to the Kapuso actress, she already knew the family of Rayver Cruz way back when she was little girl. They were also former gymmates.

Bianca Umali, “Of course, alam naman niya na may warm welcome ako sa kaniya dito sa network natin [GMA-7].

“And of course, I'm here to support him. 'Tsaka ever since nung I was younger, talagang magkakakilala na kami. So yeah, happy ako and congratulations to him.”

Rayver Cruz, excited na sa bagong Kapuso project

Another Kapuso who is happy for Rayver's return to GMA-7 is newbie Kapuso Manolo Pedrosa.

Just like him, the former Pinoy Big Brother cutie is the newest addition to the talented roster of the Kapuso Network after signing his contract almost two months ago.

Manolo said, “I would say congrats and welcome to GMA.”
