Tao Sattaphong Phiangphor talked about the Korean and Lakorn version of 'Princess Hours' and how he prepared for the role of Prince Ian.

Tao Sattaphong Phiangphor talked about the similarities and the differences between the princes in the Korean and the Lakorn version of Princess Hours during GMAnetwork.com's exclusive interview. Tao portrayed Crown Prince In, known as Prince Ian in the Tagalog dubbed version, in the Lakorn series. While Ju Ji Hoon portrayed Crown Prince Lee Shin in the 2006 Korean drama.

He explained, "I think there are more similarities [between the prince from the Korean version and the Thai version.] But the way I play [the character] or express is different because of the difference in culture [between] Thailand and Korea. [That's what's] different."

How was it like portraying a prince? He answered, "[It's] different because we have to make a new country, it's called Bhutin. That's a place that we don't have in the real world, so I have to imagine that I am the prince of Bhutin. So, I have to work a lot on my acting. Do a lot of workshops."

He also added that while shooting for the said drama, he became close with both Pattie Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha and Pagniez Phan. The two portrayed the Crown Princess and the former Crown Prince respectively.
