Tattooed in History

Whether it's as simple as title recall or as in-depth as the series' moral lesson, the cast of 'Carlo J. Napakaimportante sa akin noon-pagmamahal niya sa kapatid niya, anak niya, asawa niya. Yung message ng Bordado, katulad noong Asian Treasures na ang message [naman ay] kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Ito, yung [pagbibigay importansya sa] pamilya ng mga Pilipino. Para sa akin nakamit ko yung vision and mission ng writers na nagkonsepto." - Robin Padilla "I hope that people will remember Joaquin Bordado as, of course it is an action-fantasy soap opera, but beyond all that, sana maalala nila na umikot ang istorya nito sa pagmamahal ni Joaquin sa pamilya niya. Pagmamahal niya hindi lang sa asawa't anak niya kundi sa mga kapatid niya. So sana maalala nila 'yun. It's one of the few fantaseryes na talagang hindi iniwan ang element of drama and family." - Iza Calzado "As a show that kept its promise on giving not only high quality entertainment, but trying to stretch out the parameters of doing primetime soaps. Given the present standard of Philippine primetime television, the people behind Joaquin Bordado tried to work not only within the box, but [also] out of the box sometimes. E ngayon, naging working arrangement na nila yun-pag mayroon siyang hindi gusto, tatanong niya kay direk. Pati yung choreography. Halos pelikula na nga ginagawa niya, e! Sa lahat ng mga nakatrabaho ko, kasi yung ibang mga artista-'Okay na yan, pwede na yan,' kahit yung mga bidang nakatrabaho ko [na]. Siya, hindi. Makikita mo naman sa mga stunts na ginagawa niya, di ba? Kung anu-ano nangyayari sa kanya. At saka balita ko gumagasta siya from his own pocket para magawa yung gusto niya. Which is realistic lang, dahil may limit ang budget ng GMA. Yun ang hindi ko makakalimutan. Dito ko nakita na artist si Robin-hindi lang siya action star. Meaning, he strives for perfection." - Pen Medina "Kaya mataas yung ratings [dahil] sa amin! Basta huwag niyo lang paalam kay Robin!" - Ariel "Well, we'd like Joaquin Bordado to be remembered by knowing na kami po talaga ang bida doon, at hindi po si Robin Padilla. At 'wag niyo lang papaalam kay Robin 'yan, siya na lang po kasi ang hindi nakakaalam. 'Yun 'yung twist sa huli eh, na magkakatuluyan kami ni Iza Calzado. (Laughs.)
