WATCH: Four things about millennial trio JBK's new music video

By Cherry Sun

The Kapuso millennial trio JBK is back with a new single and their music video is a statement on its own.

The all-male group composed of Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Ordonio has come up with a new single titled “Maibalik” and they recently released a video subtly packed with a lot of message.

Watch this:

1) “Maibalik” was directed and edited by Bryan's brother.

The music video is the directorial debut of Bryan's brother Ken del Rosario. While this is considered his first official music video, Ken has been producing video content for the band since they started.

2) Pairing JBK with non-stereotypical leading ladies was intentional.

It wasn't enough for JBK to sing a song about love, the trio wanted to show that ladies of different characters, shapes and color are all deserving of affection.

3) The music video is a visual treat.

JBK chose eye-candy locations for the scenes of their music video. Among their sets include a retro-inspired bistro in Makati and a dessert museum. The settings also made the experience light on the eyes despite the music being sentimental.

4) The quality of the music video aimed for a world-class vibe.

It was only fitting that an internationally-acclaimed group like JBK who was well applauded during their X Factor UK stint get a music video that is at par with foreign production. This can be noticed in the treatment and color of their video and how the narrative of their song unfolded.
