'IBilib' host Chris Tiu penned a heartfelt post after the hard-fought game last Saturday, November 3. This prompted rumors that he will be soon retiring from professional basketball. Read what Chris has to say about this.

IBilib host Chris Tiu penned a heartfelt post after the hard-fought game of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters against NLEX Road Warriors last Saturday, November 3.

Rain or Shine beat NLEX 107-101; where Tiu scored a career high of 30 points.

In his Instagram post, Chris said that it was one of his most memorable game.

Several celebrities and athletes also reacted to this emotional post of the former Ateneo de Manila University star cager.

Meanwhile, in an interview, Chris said that he will talk with the big bosses of Rain or Shine, before making any plans of retiring from basketball.

The Kapuso host said, “We will see. My contract is expiring I think in November or December this year. I have to talk to our bosses, sir Raymond (Yu), sir Terry (Que), let's see what they have in mind. And then, will make an announcement... maybe.”

Chris also stressed that he wanted to spend more time with his family and that is why he needs to re-assess his plans for the future.

“I'm 33. I'm not getting any younger. My kids are growing up fast.

“I want to spend a lot of time with them especially in this important formative years. Lot of things to consider. Let's see.”

Chris Tiu has two daughters with his wife Clarisse Ong named Amanda Claire and Mari Diana.
