Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico are celebrating Christmas separately again

Celebrity couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico will spend Christmas away from each other again for the third time this year.

In a recent interview with GMANetwork.com, Solenn and Nico said they will briefly separate for the holidays because the former has some work to do here in the Philippines, while the latter will celebrate Christmas with his family in Argentina.

Aside from Solenn's weekly show, Taste Buddies, she will also be busy taping for GMA's newest primetime series, Cain at Abel. She will work with Dingdong Dantes, Dennis Trillo, and Sanya Lopez in this action-drama series.

Although it may seem a bit odd for some couples, Solenn and Nico do not see this as an issue.

The Kapuso actress explained, “Well, I'm not a Christmas person.

“I'm not really into Christmas, to be quite honest. For me, it's the most hectic month of the year, so I'd rather not have Christmas.

“Christmas for me is just more traffic, everything. So when we separate…

“Right now, we don't have a kid, so it doesn't really matter whether we're together or not for Christmas because we're together for the entire year.”

Solenn then looked at her husband and said, “For him, he gets to go home with his family [in Argentina] that's why he enjoys it.”

The businessman/celebrity influencer said, “I'm a super Christmas person.”

Apart from spending quality time with his family in Argentina, Nico also noted that he likes the festive mood during Christmas season.

“I like Christmas because of the preparation, people are happier when they're in the Christmas mood or spirit.”

Although separated on Christmas, Nico said he and Solenn always make sure they are together when the new year comes.

He said, “We spend New Year together and we always put up something special for the New Year.”
