Jessica Soho, Maine Mendoza win big at this year's RAWR Awards

Jessica Soho and Maine Mendoza led GMA Network in this year's RAWR Awards, yesterday (November 14) at the Le Reve Pool and Events Venue in Quezon City.

Mendoza was awarded as Pak na Pak na Comedian besting the likes of Vice Ganda, Angelica Panganiban, Michael V, and Eat Bulaga co-host Paolo Ballesteros.

For the second consecutive year, GMA News pillar Soho took home the Female News Personality of the Year.

Barbie Forteza-starrer Inday Will Always Love You brought home the Bet na Bet na Teleserye award, defeating The Blood Sisters, Ika-6 na Utos and Kambal, Karibal.

Kyline Alcantara bagged the Favorite Kontrabida award for her portrayal of Cheska in Kambal, Karibal.

Barangay LS 97.1 won the Radio Station of the Year while vlogger-influencer Kimpoy Feliciano got the Digital Influencer trophy.

RAWR Awards is an online award-giving body now on its fourth year. The theme for 2018 is "Diversity" in which it pays tribute to those who made a dent in the digital industry and promoted diversity through their respective characters and campaigns."

The winners of each award are selected based on the combined total votes of fans and readers (50%), the blogging community (25%) and industry leaders (25%).
