Filipino celebrities pay tribute to Stan Lee

Millions of people were deeply saddened to hear the news about the passing of the comic book superhero creator Stan Lee.

The 95-year-old Marvel legend passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, on Monday, November 12.

Filipino celebrities paid their tribute to Lee on their respective Instagram account.

Manilyn Reynes said that her family was a big fan of Lee's creations, adding that her sons' inspiration was him.

“The family's always been a big fan of your creations. My husband read your comic books when he was young. My boys draw and you have been one of their inspirations,” Manilyn wrote.

Cosplayer Alodia Godiengfiao reminisced the moment she met Lee in 2016.

Saying, “He was so nice and one funny thing I can never forget is that he kicked my bag on the floor to get closer to us for the selfie.”


Actors Ryan Eigenmann , Juancho Trivino, Ashley Garcia, and Joross Gamboa; DJ Sam YG; director Sid Maderazo; and singer Jett Pangan also posted their goodbye to Lee.


Casts of Marvel movies have also paid tribute to Lee, who appeared in every movie since 2000.
