iBilib host and Rain or Shine Elasto Painter cager Chris Tiu announced that he is retiring from professional basketball.

Chris, who led the Ateneo de Manila University in UAAP Men's basketball championship in 2008, hinted that he is considering retirement soon in November 2018.
In a short message he posted on Twitter, Chris said that he is ready to move on to the next chapter in his life.
“My heartfelt gratitude to every person who has been part of my basketball journey!! Most especially to our Lord who makes all things possible. It's now time to move on. My heart is full. #17 signing off...”
