The Sweetheart and the Balladeer Fun Night Only: Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista all set for Kapuso Concerts
Asia's Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista kick off 2019 with world-class music and performances as thy banner the Kapuso Concerts series - with its first leg to highlight Iloilo's Dinagyang Festival.
Dubbed “The Sweetheart and the Balladeer: Fun Night Only,' the maiden concert offering reunites Julie Anne and Christian on stage this January 27 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Joining them is the comedic duo of Donita Nose and Super Tekla who will definitely leave the Kapusong Ilonggos laughing with their funny repertoire. Meanwhile, treating her fans with sweet voice is special guest The Clash Grand Champion Golden Cañedo.
The Kapuso Concerts is a collaboration between the Network's regional arm GMA Regional TV, GMA Entertainment Group, and GMA Pinoy TV.
“2019 is definitely a big year here for us in GMA Network,” says GMA RTV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “We are excited to share GMA Regional TV's major project together with GMA Entertainment Group and GMA Pinoy TV - Kapuso Concerts. This year, we are bringing the biggest and the brightest performers closer to our Kapuso viewers as we mount a series of concerts not just all over the country but also abroad. And bannering the first leg of world-class shows are no less than Asia's Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista. And we will see them perform live during Iloilo's Dinagyang Festival, a sure treat to our Kapusong Ilonggos,” he adds.
“We want our Kapuso viewers to enjoy quality concerts closer to where they are,” shares GMA Vice President for Business Development and Department III Darling de Jesus Bodegon. “This is why we have partnered with GMA Regional TV and GMA Pinoy TV to mount Kapuso Concerts with our first leg bannered by two of the country's best singers - Julie Anne and Christian. Both of them have proven their power to mesmerize the concert audience either during solo shows or concerts where they share the stage. Kapuso concert-goers should definitely look forward to 'The Sweetheart and the Balladeer,” she ends.
“The Sweetheart and the Balladeer: Fun Night Only” will have another run this February 10 at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro.
