Rufa Mae Quinto's on hacking incident: 'I found a silver lining amid my ordeal.'

Lumabas ang pagiging komedyante ng former Bubble Gang star na si Rufa Mae Quinto nang mabawi niya ang kaniyang Instagram account matapos ma-hack.

Sa isang mahabang post, ikinuweto niya na ikinalungkot niya ang pagkaka-hacked ng kaniyang social media account.
Umamin din ito natakot siya sa maaring gawin ng hackers sa kaniyang Instagram page.
“2019 started off weirdly for me. I woke up on the first day of the year to the news that my Instagram account was hacked.
“I was shocked when I figured that someone stole my page!
“I didn't know what to do. For someone like me who is not techy, I quite panicked knowing that the hacker might do something bad using my page and I was clueless on how to retrieve it!
“More than anything, I was scared that the hacker would harm my family and friends using the power of technology.”
Isa-isa din pinasalamatan ng multi-awarded comedienne ang mga taong tumulong para mabawi niya ang kaniyang account.
“Thankfully, God sent His angels to help me retrieve my page. A big thank you to Ms. Betchay Vidanes @betchayvidanes and her whole team for helping me get back my Instagram page.
“I am very grateful as well to the people behind @instagram for working hand in hand with us for my account to be returned.
“Also, I would like to thank my family and friends for all the advice and suggestions you gave me when I was still solving my social media predicament. I love you all!”
Ibinahagi din ni Rufa Mae na natutunan niya magdoble higpit sa pag-aalaga ng kaniyang Instagram account para hindi na ito maulit.
Aniya, “I made a lot of realizations when my page was stolen. I found a silver lining (yes I am quoting you our Miss Universe @catriona_gray) amid my ordeal.
"For an artist like me, Instagram is such a big platform to inspire, influence and spread happiness to my fans.
"Hence, I realized that I should take more measures to protect it and secure it in order to prevent something like this to happen again."
Dagdag pa niya, “Most of my photos were deleted by the hacker so I decided to start all over.
"I will be archiving and removing what remains of my old photos and start anew.
"Hope you will join me as I begin again. Thank you very much everyone. I am so happy to be back!
