GMA Regional TV makes Dinagyang Festival accessible on air and online

This Sunday (January 27), GMA Regional TV--the regional arm of GMA Network--will bring up-to-the minute live broadcast of the colorful Dinagyang Festival not just on air but online as well.

Pioneering Hiligaynon news program One Western Visayas presents the “Hala Bira! The One Western Visayas Dinagyang Festival Special Live Coverage” which will provide viewers with live coverage of the Dinagyang Festival Dagyang Tribes Dance Competition.

Hosted by One Western Visayas anchors Atty. Sedfrey Cabaluna, Adrian Prietos, and Kaitlene Rivilla, the “Hala Bira! The One Western Visayas Dinagyang Festival Special Live Coverage” begins at 8:30 a.m. They will be joined by One Western Visayas correspondents Zeny Quilantang and Darylle Marie Sarmiento.

This is the first time GMA Iloilo will have a live coverage of the Dinagyang Festival since 2013.

Netizens all over the world will also be able to follow the fun as “Hala Bira! The One Western Visayas Dinagyang Festival Special Live Coverage” will be available online from 8:30 a.m. onwards via GMA Regional TV's official website www.gmaregionaltv.com.

“Last year we launched a pioneering unified Hiligaynon newscast in Western Visayas thru One Western Visayas,” says GMA Regional TV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “We are proud to share that the same team who delivers comprehensive and in-depth news and information in this region will be the same people who will provide up-to-the minute reportage of the Dinagyang Festival Dagyang Tribes Dance Competition this Sunday.
