Proud morena Kelsey Meritt keeps on making waves in the international modeling scene after she got featured in the popular American sports magazine Sports Illustrated (SI).

Kelsey couldn't contain her excitement for appearing in the iconic magazine as one of their Swimsuit 2019 Rookies.

She said, “I've been keeping this a secret for a while, and now I'm so excited I get to finally share with you all that I'm the newest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 Rookie!!! Ahhh thank you @si_swimsuit @mj_day for the opportunity to shoot for this iconic issue!!! ♥️”

Sports Illustrated listed some of the huge milestones of Kelsey Merritt's modeling career like being the first-ever Filipina to be part of the biggest lingerie show on the planet- Victoria's Secret Fashion.

“You might recognize this freckle-faced beauty as the first-ever Filipino woman to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion show just last year. Our girl has also modeled for brands such as Vera Wang and Maybelline, even while she was still in school! Talk about beauty AND brains.”
