International artist Apl.de.ap donates a retinal image camera system at a local hospital in Pampanga to help visually impaired children.

The machine is said to easily diagnose and treat kids with Retinopathy of Prematurity (R.O.P) known to cause early blindness to premature infants.

During the conference, the rapper shares that he himself suffered from visual impairment when he was younger.

He says, “I myself when growing up was legally blind and I had a difficult time going through school."

Four years ago we set out on a mission: to take part in during blindness and visual impairments in the Philippines. The Apldeap Foundation delivered our first retinal camera outside of Manila to Davos. And today we delivered our second one to the Jose B Lingad Memorial Regional Hospita Pampanga. I want to thank wanted to give a special thanks to - The Knghits Templar Eye Foundation, Inc. - the Campaign for Filipino Children, - Western Union - ALQ Foundation - the Philippine Academy of Opthalmology and special thanks to @delendot for helping make this all possible. Together, we can help the Philippines see a little clearer. #AplOfMyEye
