Mic Test Entertainment inks co-production agreement with GMA Network
The Kapuso network inked an agreement with the production company of Michael V. and wife Carol Bunagan, Mic Test Entertainment on Friday, March 15.

Both GMA-7 and Mic Test Entertainment are producing the highly-anticipated movie, written and directed by Michael V. titled Family History.
Present in the contract signing were GMA Network President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr. and GMA Network Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong. Kapuso lady executives Bang Arespacochaga and Janine Piad-Nacar also graced the event.
For Mic Test Entertainment, both Michael V and Carol were there to sign the agreement.
GMA President Gilberto Duavit revealed during his interview with showbiz reporter Lhar Santiago that they've talked to Michael V on the possibility of doing a movie when he renewed his contract with the network last April 2018.

Mr. Duavit explained, “Well hindi naman kaila sa ating lahat ang kahusayan ni Bitoy sa lahat ng aspeto ng kaniyang craft. So noong huling lagdaaan ng kontrata ni Bitoy, hindi namin siya tinigilan na buyuhin 'uy baka naman pag-isipan mo na gumawa uli ng pelikula.'
“Sa kagandahang palad pinaunlakan tayo ni Bitoy mayroon siyang pinadalang kuwento at sa unang pagbasa pa lamang. I mean speaking for myself, sabi ko this is one story that has to be made into a movie.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Yalong is immensely excited for this project since this will mark the return of Michael V on the big screen.
“We are so excited, because after several years ngayon lang yata uli babalik si Bitoy sa big screen.”
Mic Test Entertainment Executive Producer Carol Bunagan also expressed her gratitude to GMA Network for taking care of them.
“We are just so happy that we are partnering with GMA kasi we've been really taken care of.”
She added that their past two shooting days for Family History has been stress-free and the actors were all enjoying while shooting the film.
“We are done with day two, so happy naman #HappySet nga kami parati. We're just like playing. Ang mga artista are enjoying Bitoy [as their director] parang naglalaro lang siya.”
Michael V. on the other hand welcomes this new challenge. “Being in full control parang binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na mailagay 'yung stamp ko dito na parang ito 'yung magiging business card ko, kumbaga kung gagawa ako ng future projects.”
Family History boasts a star-studded cast which includes Dawn Zulueta, John Estrada, Paolo Contis, Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Nonie Buencamino, and Kakai Bautista.
Also part of the movie are Ina Feleo, Mikoy Morales, Nikki Co, Vince Gamad, and Jemwell Ventinilla.
