Former Sampaguita Pictures matinee idol Jose Mari Gonzales passed away on April 16 due to Pneumonia and cardiac arrest. He was 80 years old.
Former Sampaguita Pictures matinee idol Jose Mari Gonzales passed away on April 16 due to Pneumonia and cardiac arrest. He was 80 years old.
Jose Mari was also a musician, businessman, politician, and former president of RPN-9.
He is the father of celebrity-politician Cristina “Kring-Kring” Gonzales. He is survived by his wife Charito 'Chayong' Malarky-Gonzalez, children Cristina, Jose Luis, Michael, Ana Margarita, and Jose Mari, Jr. and his grandchildren.
His wake will be held at the Heritage Memorial Chapel in Taguig City up to Friday.
